Colorado 2025 Legislative Session – Stay Informed and Protected with EVSTRA
The Colorado General Assembly convened its first regular session on Jan. 8, 2025. The House and Senate will generally meet at 10 a.m. on Mondays and 9 a.m. Tuesday through Friday. As of Monday, January 27, a total of 118 bills have been introduced in the House, and 86 bills have been introduced in the Senate. However, it does not appear that any of these bills has a noticeable effect on short-term rentals. Nevertheless, we are aware of several rumored proposals that could affect short-term rentals, but are not aware of any corresponding bills having been introduced. The Estes Valley Short-Term Rental Alliance remains committed to closely monitoring legislative activity in partnership with state and local organizations. We will provide timely updates on any legislative initiatives that could impact short-term rental operations.
If you’re not yet a member, now is the time to join and support our efforts to preserve the future of local and statewide short-term rentals. Your membership enables us to further our advocacy initiatives and continue this important work.
