STR Advocacy Day at the Capitol
Last week, 150 short-term rental stakeholders and supporters gathered at the Colorado State Capitol to advocate against SB24-033. During the event, organized by CLARA (the Colorado Lodging and Resort Association), attendees engaged in meaningful discussions with legislators, sharing their personal stories and how SB24-033 would negatively impact them. Legislators were receptive to these concerns.
A special thank you to everyone who attended this event! We will continue to remain in close contact with other state groups fighting against this bill to bring you the latest updates and information as it becomes available.
📣SB24-033 Senate Finance Committee Hearing
Tuesday, Feb. 20 | 2 p.m. MST
On Tuesday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m., the Senate Finance Committee will be deliberating SB24-033. It is critical that we have as many people as possible join the fight against this detrimental bill. There are several ways you can take action on Feb. 20.
1. Attend the Senate Finance Committee Hearing: Showing up in person speaks volumes and helps make a statement. Join us at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20, at the State Capitol Building, Room 357, to attend the hearing as a group.
2. Speak or Submit Written Testimony: Sharing your personal story and how this bill would affect you and your family is incredibly impactful. Sign up to testify here >>

- Under “Meeting Date and Time” select 2/20/24 at 2:00 PM
